APOLOGIES FOR THE LACK OF POSTING...

So, I've not updated this is an age. I've been busy doing many projects and filling about 100 folders with a 1000 pieces of paper. Sorry all the same though. Gonna get round to uploading all the projects I have been working on eventually. Keep them eyes peeled. PEACE X

JAMMY DODGERS

We were given the task of creating an advert for a product we had been given - ours was 'Jammy Dodgers'. I instantly came up with the tagline - YOU CAN'T DODGE A JAMMY DODGER (genious, right?... NAH). I then created a storyboard whilst Lewis worked on a script. Within 10 minutes we were ready to go. We all shot a scene each and all acted a scene each, then Charlie done a cracking job of editing. I'm well pleased with the result! Will post a video when it's up on youtube.

MORE THAN SKIN DEEP

This is out 'film' project. Mike O Hare is our director, and I was given the role of 'sound' and also ''editing' (as a bi-product of being on sound). It's been hard graft for akll the usual reasons - getting actors/lacations/filming dates etc etc... However, we now have it all sorted (I HOPE) and plan to shoot on Wednesday 29th February. Updates to come on that, I bet you're on the edge of your seat...

This is the final finished product of the short that I wrote and directed. There are a few errors - main one being the lack of an ending, that was a concious decision, but it wasn't maybe the best one I made (I liked it, others didn't). There were other smaller errors - sound/mic in shot/lighting etc. However, overall I was pretty happy considering it was our first major project. ENJOY.

BELATED UPDATE OF THE BLOG

Hasn't been updated for ages, apologies. This is because a knacking inspired me to knuckle down and do a lot more folder work. Will post updates on exactly what in a sec...

PROPER work experience

Yesterday me, Charlie, Lewis and Mike O Hare had a full day of graft. It involved filming an informal discussion Mike conducted with a few nice chaps about their time serving in the forces. We got picked to do the task and at first I was a bit daunted by it, but we went for a few meetings and it all seemed to fall into place. The whole thing is a part of a celebration of the Queen's diamond jubilee, many meetings, discussions and events are taking place from now until then and all/most are going to be filmed and hopefully be eventually edited into a nice little promotional piece. Back to this task though, the discussion took place in the Art Gallery and my role was to work the tripod camera. The day went really well and it was probably the most 'professional' thing I've done yet which I was proud of. Everyone played their part, and the actual discussion was really interesting and enjoyable and the guys taking part were all excellent. Looking forward to the prospect of working on the overall big task again in the future. The woman who arranged it all said we'd done and excellent job and I enjoyed it so overall good day!
